They keep calling even after telling them to stop. I am getting so tired of fake calls!!
Repeated robo-voicemails left telling me I have an "important message" from "Creditors Collection Service", trying to get me to call the random number back. I will not answer or call back. I have no outstanding bills and good credit.
They call about insurance.I actually paid thinking I was getting insurance. It is a discount medical program supposedly but I still haven't verified that. I did get cards in the mail. I think it's a well organized scheme.
Call came from a 'restricted' number, and the message informed the receiver to call 'their petitioner' at 855-857-2596. Caller identified self as Investigator Edwards calling for a court summons. Caller did not identify the court that issues the summons, or give any indication of location or address. Case number was 7 digits long and in the format of 0000-000. Unlikely to be legitimate due to officer or court failing to disclose city and state location for the summons. The call is designed to cause the receiver to believe that they are in trouble, as the investigator claims that they will show up at your residence or workplace if the caller does not contact the number specified. They make it sound as legit as possible, but would have more information if they actually were. If I do call them back, it would be for no other purpose than to vent the week's frustrations on them.
Caller identified self as Investigator Crew looking for a deceased person. Caller did not identify their agency or court. Caller left Case number with only four digits. Possible impersonation of constable or court officer.
