Actually, it is from Freedom Mortgage and I am trying to refinance, so this is a good number.
Keep calling after starting a refinance loan with Freedom Mortgage. Don’t know who they are never leave message.
I finished closing with Freedom Mortgage this morning and decided to unblock this number to see what they wanted and sure enough they were claiming to need information to set up my closing date.
Also in refinancing a home. They called and said were my mortgage co to schedule closing. Then couldn't find my name in system. Asked for my SSN to search records. I refused. Then they said oh I see your account and asked for the last 4 of my SSN to verify. I have a personal loan officer and the company would easily see my unusual name as well as not ask for my whole SSN to find an account. Dont give SSN when called!!!!!!! If you call and know the person and the line is secure that might be different but when they call you, NO.
This number has called me twice since we began closing procedures with Freedom Mortgage. This is fraud, pure and simple.
