Received numerous calls from similar numbers in area 857...which is Boston. I answered yesterday. Called "on behalf" of CBE Group to verify personal information. I refused to verify and told the caller that I've never heard of CBE Group. Other sites show it's a collection agency...my credit rating is outstanding and have never been in collections for any debt. The woman got testy and said she had to put me on hold for a minute. I disconnected and blocked the number. The blocked number attempted to call again today.
They called again requesting personal information in an intimidating way
Answered the phone no one replied then they hung up on me after a couple seconds.
This number calls me every day for a week then it stops for a week, then it just starts all over again. I tried calling it back once and it said that it is not a working number.
