I got a text from 86975 saying the HR block Fraud Center wanting to know if I attempted a $500 transaction at Walmart. I do have a HR Block card so I replied no. Then I immediately got a text saying someone from KeyBank would call me and to use the reference# provided in the text. Sure enough they did call, but I didn't answer after realizing HR Block uses METABANK NOT KEYBANK. ITS A SCAM!!!!!!!

I got the same call on a card I DO have. It's not a prepaid card, but a bonus earnings card from an outside vendor that my employer set us up with to earn extra money. ( I guess because its loaded as we earn extra money, it may be considered a prepaid card???) A few months ago, this card was shut down and they sent me a replacement card. I can't believe this would be happening a second time????? I think maybe this time it may indeed be a scam. So annoying.
I received a call and a case number, and a request to call back. The message stated my prepaid card had been used in Austalia, the Philippines and Highland Park, Illinois for over $6,000. The only problem is they never identified who they were and I do not have a pre paid card to my knowledge. Smells like a scam.
I received a call. The stated, "This is the (there was a pause) your prepaid card service provider fraud service center at 866-212-0614. With an important message for (my name). We need to verify some recent activity on your prepaid card ending in XXXX....." I do have a prepaid card . Please call back within 24 to 48 hours. and gave me a case# and if i was out of the country I could call collect to this # 1-727-227-2247.

However I looked at my account online and there were no purchases posted that I hadn't made. Even if there was fraudulent activity there should be pending posts.
