Got unwanted call from 866-266-5511?
They're a "student loan" scam. This number, 1-866-266-5511, is just one of the 200 they have called me from in the last 3 months. They call 5-10 times per day at all hours of the day and night. You will need to change your phone number. They will never stop. Other numbers they've called me from are: 916-376-7854 916-734-7463 916-319-0800 530-314-2876 530-290-1142 415-962-7014 916-319-0800 424-358-5440 877-652-0739 916-774-4114 210-582-1789 214-924-5322 219-840-4317 530-233-1856 213-418-7184 530-501-4622 530-260-5091 +43 4323 4192(china) 1-800-872-5372 530-562-9119 805-543-7732 530-828-8644 530-550-8382 530-789-1238 530-605-8761 661-282-5759 951-826-6530 413-259-8382 and many, many more.
Wanted to take over my student loans. They admitted up front that they charge fees prior to servicing the loan. There is federal law prohibiting up front billing prior to servicing. They also violated DNC when calling me so I am looking for their physical locations.
Tried to sell me something that I could do myself.
