This is a legitimate number for the PAN Foundation. It is not a scam call unless someone else is spoofing their number.
Let it go to voice mail since did not recognize number and it was out of state. Only said "Our toll free number is...…". Then it ended. I did not return call.
Just received a call about my deceased mother and some type of debt she owed. My parents always paid their bills on time! Why in the world would I give information about her or myself over the phone? They left a voicemail to have me call them back. Well guess what? They can hold their breath! I am not giving out my social security number or any other information. Just another SCAM!
Told it was US Bank and I was to call this number and that is was important. It's a Sunday evening. What bank is open on a Sunday. I don't think I'll call back.
