popup on my computer saying it has been, "Locked up" and to call this #. I'm not falling for their scam. Also received a call to landline from a woman with a very thick middle East accent telling me the same thing..." Calling from Microsoft letting you know that all of yourpersonal info is spreading online". I waited for her to take a breath and I asked her, "Do y'all really think Americans are that stupid, and gonna fall for your scams!?" she hung up.
My computer was locked up and I was told call this number. They said I needed buy antivirus software from them. 5 years $600, 3 years $400, 1 year $200. The guy was pretty convincing. I eventually hung up and turned off the computer. Turned it on later and it has worked fine so far.
they got me to let them on my computer what do I do now
It is a scam, they will ask to remotely access your computer. Turn off computer and scan.
How do I get the pop up off my screen??? I just had the same thing happen to me!! Please help
Alert came through on my computer and advise me to call this number.. the alert was from Microsoft and it said my information was being stolen. I called number and they want permission to my computer!!
