Got unwanted call from 866-574-4103?
This is a scam, an attempt to have the caller pay money to eliminate a non-existent civil court case. They attempt to gather information about you. It will sound legitimate, as they know your social security number, a former address and the case will be filed against you in a court in your previous resident city or current resident court. They will tell you documents have been sent to you (previous address or last known address), but were not returned to their office three weeks prior to their call date. They will tell you it is a civil case, however the charge they say you have pending against you is some of the following; fraud, forgery, theft, etc. Interesting to note, these types are criminal charges, not civil! This is a scam, do not answer, nor call these people back! The more information you provide them, will result in identity theft, theft from your bank account or credit card. Do not call. If you do, they will attempt to gather information or make you pay fees to avoid their false claim.
