Requested a call from Wells Fargo for a sign in code and the caller id showed 8776730203 but the recording said this is Wells Fargo calling from 866 609 3037 please press 1 for your code. Not legitimate, this is criminals
I called netspend to activate a prepaid debit card which was purchased with cash. They demand every personal detail possible to activate. I get a call from this number claiming to be my actual bank... completely irrelevant from netspend... my bank is a credit union and it is a robocaller asking me to verify fraudulent activity on my account. The robocaller asks me if I am my name and then proceeds to do a verification by asking me to confirm all the details I previously gave to Netspend customer service. I didn't do it because I knew something was extremely off about this call. When I look up the number it belongs to Netspend.. not my banking institution. This is a warning to be extremely careful when conducting business with this company. Their internal employees are probably conducting fraud using people's information. Ripe for abuse.
Pulled the sweet sounding human voice, claimed she was Julie Morgan with help for my student loans. The actual number she called from was a local telemarketer number.
Left messages saying they are calling about student loans her name was Julie Morgan also left a reference number
said they were collecting for Ohio State Troopers Association. There were kids in the background playing. I was given 2 different addresses of the Ohio State Troopers Assoc they were collecting for. I told them I would verify this info and call them back. They gave me the number of 866-609-1880 to return a call for a donation.
A machine called and asked me to donate to a charity. When I asked for the phone number to the charity office, I was given another number at the fund-raising company's office. This is a scam.

Call asking if I approve sending money to a Tonya Banker at 713-228-7858 from my Wells Fargo account. I don't have a WF acct. Then they hung up on me.
