This is a scam number impersonating Johnson Smith and Associates which is a law firm in Arkansas, but this caller is a fake and seeking to get you to give your card number for a sum of money that they claim you own on a very old debt that has been written off. They offer to let you make payments so they can debit your acct every month and may ask for a large sum up front. I was scammed by another caller who claimed to be an agency out of NY and threatened to report them to the BBB, the FTC, and the FBI which I did. I got back every penny of the $1,100 they said I owed on a pay day loan that was over 10 years old. I contacted the people I owed and it was written off and was only for $200. So when I got the call from J Smith and associates, I was wise to them and looked them up. I called them back and told them that I didn't owe any debt and was not involved in any illegal problems. They quickly hung up. Reputable attorneys seeking to resolve debt issues will send some documentation first before calling and threatening to take you to court or asking for payment by phone. Beware!!!

This same dude went on every page and posted the same commment. Whether it's an old debt or not , you still owe it. It's debt you incurred . Lol people love to complain about debt collection office calling to collect money, but borrowing money and not paying it back is stealing so pay your damn bills. Verified w the Arkansas office JSMITH AND ASSOCIATES is a DIFFERENT company w different priorities . They aren't a law firm & they tell u that on the phone. They take the debt off your credit once it's paid off & you a paid in full letter so that if anyone else tries to make you pay you have proof it's already taken care of. I had 2 debts w them and one I had already paid for, I sent them the letter and that was one debt knocked off the table. They helped me with the second one
