i received a call from someone I could not understand. She gave me this number: 866 888 1778 and a claim number. I called to see what this was and spoke with a man identifying himself as Peter Brown. He said I owed 201.50 from 2015 for never completing a supplement purchase. I recall the item and followed all of their instructions for returning (at my cost) their useless supplement, now he is insisting that I owe this money because I did not cancel within 10 days. This is a scam. He said they will attach to my credit report. If that happens I told him I will sue them. We will see what happens. I am sure these telemarketers have bought some defunct companies mailing list and is now trying to make money off of unsuspecting subscribers.

I got the exact same script read to me when she called me even the same name was used

The message I received was: This message is intended for Don boss. This is Sandra Morgan calling in regards to the C at legal document received in my office under your name and social security number as I stated in my previous messages. I have a request to serve that Services regarding claims being filed to get you through your county. I'm calling because I haven't received a formal cease and desist from the claim it meeting you have failed to respond to their official notice of intent in a timely manner at this point. We need to confirm a date to complete service of processing. Please be advised you can prevent service of process by contacting the claimant immediately today at 866-888-1778.
