Received a message on my computer that it was infected by malware and if I didn't call 866-933-1531 my computer would be locked. I shut my computer down and did not call the number.
This is yet another call from scammers in India pretending to be from Microsoft. I called the number back and asked the guy who answered when he plans to get a real job instead of scamming people and ripping them off and wouldn't his mother be more proud of him if he did? (People in India are supposedly so reverent toward their parents, which is why I brought up his mother.) He then tried to act all innocent saying the call was from Microsoft saying my license key has expired and this is an "emergency." Then he said it was not my business what his mother thinks! I told him it was since he called ME with a scam. He continued to insist he was from Microsoft and please to open my Windows (which was already open). He eventually hung up on me. Apparently this is their new tactic -- to insist they are not lying often enough so that you will eventually believe them. .
Robo call. Female voice claiming this is an emergency. Your Microsoft Windows licence on your computer has expired. Right.
Left a # msg, but does not look like a phone number. However, I called the # back from a landline and a real person answered "Thank you for calling Microsoft" after which I hung up. Blocking this # right along with all the other spam calls.
from 866-933-5490 maybe, unless that was spoofed. left message in broken english that my microsoft license had expired, and this was an emergency, and I should call them back now. Microsoft does not work this way. This is a scam. I did not call back.

A pop up message on my PC with this number and an alert about my PC's system detected unusual inactivity.
