Got unwanted call from 866-978-7564?
same bs - windows license expired. Told idiot with Indian Accent 'I use a MAC Apple, not Windows'. He hung up.
Microsoft automated call license has expired... SCAM
Received call saying Windows services have been stopped in computer by Microsoft Corporation. To renew licensee call this number to renew.
computerized woman's voice saying the Windows license has expired
Scam! Taped announcement saying my Microsoft account had expired. Blocked them.
Scam! Windows is not licensed to individuals and can therefore can not "expire." Giant corporations and government license windows, when that expires, it is their responsibility to renew the license, not yours.
Same as everyone else, except I called back on a blocked number and told him that not only do I not have a computer but that I am reporting him to the FBI as a scam. No surprise, he hung up on me.
When I called this number, the man who answered sounded like he had an Indian accent, and he answered the telephone "Microsoft". When I asked him what a Microsoft License Key was, he hung up. I also called the number on the called ID - 866-255-6106 . The same man answered, and when I asked the same question, he hung up again. That is why I called. A woman called and said my Microsoft License Key had expired and my PC would be unable to use Microsoft. What a scam. I wish the Federal authorities would go after these white collar criminals.
