Got unwanted call from 866-981-6262?
I hardly ever answer my phone, so when seeing that I had 3 messages from this number, I listened and the reference numbers that Victoria Pearson and Victoria Rogers provide for my SAME number are different. I also noticed they didn't address me by name on the robo-call, and the "script is exactly the same". I stay in contact with my Student Loan through Email, and they pretty much stay in touch with me, so this is a RED FLAG!
TOTAL SCAM!!!! I called my student loan company and they did not call me. Same lady Victoria Perason and left a ref#.
Same "Victoria Pearson" leaving a VM, no company name asking about Federal Student loan changes, asking to call back 866-981-6262 and leaving a reference number
same thing, a Victoria Pearson calling on my cell phone, shows up as a private number, but goes direct into vmail. Msg said to discuss my federal student load, and provided a reference number. I called that number on my company phone, got a recording saying if loans are under 10K press 1, if over 10K press 2. So I press 2 and it immediately removed my phone number from their list maybe because is see that my company phone number as non traceable number too! I wouldn't trust companies that do not leave their company name on voice mail. I view this has a scam!!!!!!!!
Yes, exact same message. no indication of what company she is with which is ALWAYS a red flag!
Victoria Pearson...says she wants to discuss my federal student loan..even provided a reference number..sounds legit, but another website warns that this is a scam...
