I've lost track have how many calls I've received from the "VA Benefits Processing Center" which is NOT related to or have any affiliation with the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). This is a SCAM! They claim to inform veterans of their home loan benefits and that veterans can take advantage of whatever is offered to them. I don't know what the objective of these callers really is. However I do believe they have not named their organization to prompt confidence, but confusion. I believe they are looking to take advantage of my fellow veterans who are in financially challenging situations and exploit what they can to make steal identities, make money, etc.. When they call, the best response just might be "Alpha Mike Foxtrot".

Got this voicemail: This is Frank Ramirez I'm calling with JIS, this message is intended for REDACTED, there appears to be a couple of very serious legal complaints set that have been registered against you officially. Our office would like to give you the opportunity to give a statement to hear your side of the story. The number you want to call as soon as possible it's most important is 866-985-8302. These documents are scheduled to be dropped off to you in person but our client would like to speak with you over the phone so I need to place a temporary three hour hold on your file so that you or your attorney will have ample opportunity to contact my client. Failure to respond is going to lead to further litigation in having this matter resolved involuntarily without your consent. These calls are being logged and recorded as evidence of your having been numerous attempts to notify the defendants of this matter. I called them back and asked for their information: Rivers and Associates, 3045 Archibald, Ontario, CA 91761 These guys make it sound like they are a law office but they are a collection agency trying to strong arm people into paying "debts".
