Scam call allegedly from the "Geek squad". Spoofed phone number/caller ID.
I received a call but it went to my voicemail. It was "Anna Martin" following up on my application for loan forgiveness for my student loan. They just need more information. I never applied for this and I don't have a student loan!
I got a Robo phone call from (870)997-7472. It said their eligibility line is (202)978-9967. This was an unsolicited recorded message or a robo call. I am 100% positive that it is unsolicited because it was talking about student loan forgiveness and that I needed to complete my application. This is not possible because, first, I don't go to school and I don't have any student loans to forgive. I have also never filled out an application for student loan forgiveness. This is definitely a scam and people need to be made aware of it so that they don't fall into the trap and give them information that could compromise there identity or give other valuable information.
I received a robo voicemail from this number saying it was from Eudora Arkansas. It said I was approved for student loan relief. I haven't had student loans for 2 decades, and I just received another student loan call so I assume these are on-going scams.
