I had noted in my post earlier today that I received the scammer's call, but it appears somehow the system indicates it was a robocall. On this page, it reads 3 complaints and 3 robocalls. Might be a glitch. It was not a robocall but a living, breathing con artist. I am so disgusted with the incessant scams. Today, I cancelled my landline phone service of 24 years to be rid of all these annoying pests.
Got a call from 8764495650 said they were from publishing clearance house his name was Jamie Peterson and I won $5000 to receive each week but I needed to go to Walmart or Walgreens and buy a vanilla card so that the money could be added to it I told him to keep the prize I didn’t want it and hung up.
Scam. He said his name was Jamie Peterson of Publishers Clearing House. His colleague claimed the name of John Chester. They said I won $1.5 million. Later in the conversation, he changed the amount to $2.5 million. They also said I won $10,000 a month but I would need to leave the house, to go to Walgreen's or CVS or Walmart to buy a Vanilla One card and activate it in the amount of $500. I told them I would first need to meet with my brother, a private investigator. When my elderly parent challenged the man, calling it a scam, he said, "You're demented."I then told him I would be calling the police. I hung up. He called back several times, but I did not answer.
Received a call on October 26 claiming to be from the Publisher's Clearing House about an unclaimed prize. I hung up and they called right back. Didn't answer the second time.
Got a miss call from this number and I call back and i was charged $3.00 I didn't know the call came from Jamaica. ugh
Got a phone call at 12:02 AM stating that I have won the Publishers Clearing House. I told the caller that I NEVER signed up for it. I was told by the caller that I was automatically put into a drawing for paying my utilities on time. Yeah right whatever I told the caller no thank you and hung up.
Got a call from this number at 5:40 am! Caller ID said: cell phone JM. No message left.

Received 2 calls and an email telling me about a 5.5 Million Dollar win and a new car. The email included a fake photo of the car and "certified" check in my name. The call said they were calling because they have been trying to deliver my check. I told them that they are a scam and that I've already reported this to the Attorney General and hung up. Lastly, a vm was also left about the check. I have blocked this number and all that I don't recognize.
