Claimed to be from "Publishers Clearinghouse" and I nipped the scammer in the bud, as I know that's not PCH does their contests, nor have I entered any contest sponsored by him. The other tipoff was the fact he called well after 9PM local time.
I've received multiple calls from 876-455-8843, or similar numbers Kingston Jamica claiming to be Publishers Clearing House. I'm certain this is false, since PCH would not be calling me as a winner since I've not entered a contest recently. I've won $5,500,000 and a 2021 Mercedes w/free insurance, gas, etc for one year. WOW!
Claims to be from PCH. You have won millions. The caller wants you to get a gift card from Walgreens for $500.00 that you are supposed to give to them. They ask you to call a number that they give you to convince you that there is money in an account with your name on it. SCAM!
His name is Andy Golberg his badge # 198US and his company phone 315-287-3528 He says He is from publishers clearing house PCH and you have won. They list out the three major prizes from publisher clearing house saying you have won all three even the mercedes and lets you choose the color and they go thru this long speech having you right down things. then they get to where they want you to go to walmart to register with the federal merchant bank and that receipt is what you use to claim your prize. this was hilarious how they thought they were being so sneeky. then they give you the name of the person you need to send a wire transfer too.
