Got a call today and the guy stated he was calling from publisher clearing house and was calling from the US. Well phone said Jamaica but I let he speak anyway. He went through his speech and gave me info on how to collect my 2.5 million and Mercedes Benz and said the call was being recorded by homeland security and BBB and wanted me to state my name so I told him to say my name first and he just hung up...SCAM!
This number was from clearinghouse and when we let the guys know that we were not interested, he said " SUCK MY BALLS" and hung up. Awesome customer service.
Publishers Clearing House Scam...male calling to solicit money from people in order to give them their prize. Also, using "spoofing" to make the phone # look like they are calling from the United States when they are calling from Jamaica.
Wanted to know if I had gotten notice of the certified check I had won.........
