Got a call from 876-788-7915 leaving a message saying he was Robert Richmond from Clearing House Sweepstakes that I won $25 million & a 2023 Mercedes. Phone number he left was 928-259-5509
I don't know anyone who lives in Jamaica, and there is no reason for anybody to be calling me from there.
The guy said he was with Publishers Clearing House that I had won 2.5 million dollars & I was live on the radio, that everyone with PCH was listening. When I asked what radio station he said it was PCH. He told me to get a pen & paper & write down all the info he was giving me: his name, Robert James badge #1906RJ, Publisher's Clearing House, 2.5 million dollars, certified check from Bank of America to be delivered today, claim package #1006, to sign on the left corner of the certified check, the PCH phone# 256-905-6276 (in case I wanted to call back to verify the PCH legitimacy & to check on delivery status/ tracking), would need proof of ID & one vanilla gift card upon deliver. Said that PCH was paying 99.9% of the taxes, do the card was required to claim winnings.
They told me I won Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes and all I had to do was but a $500 Vanilla gift card and give them the numbers then they would send me $3.5 Million.
Called me today and talked creepy and nasty. He described how I look and said I walk past him every day. He admitted to stalking me. He left me a creepy voice message. It’s a Jamaican number but he claims he is in Huntsville, AL.
Called my ambulance radio phone, told them to not call again and then said “f*** you” and hung up laughing
Previous comments (Sept 16, 2019) are spot on! Caller is extremely persistent in calling multiple times per day, at all times of day. Made sweepstakes claims, claims to be with the IRS and have "found money", requests a money order be sent. This guy even tries to impersonate a woman or says "This is the doctor's office". Scummy scammer! This number is associated with 202-350-3450
?+1 (876) 788-5940? repeatedly calls our number stating they are with PCH.com and that we’ve won $5 million and a Mercedes Benz. They do no ask for anything, BUT say they will call the next day with an arrival time to give a check and the car. When they call the next day, they say Reader’s Digest, Inc. has agreed to pay the “state income taxes, but there’s a one time registration fee with the IRS of $6700.” I told them I was reporting this, but they continue to call from other numbers.
Three calls in a row from someone claiming to be from Publisher's Clearinghouse and asking if I'll be home today to collect winnings. Creepy and unsettling.
