Got a call saying I won 1 million . I laughed and went along (not giving any information to him of course). I wrote down all the information he gave me. He tried hard, let me tell you. He gave me company name, agent name badge , package code , serial , Batch , confirmation code , file and re-check . At the end of the conversation, he asked for my email address. I said that they should already have that on file. He stated that he did not see it in his paperwork. I laughed again, and told him that I NEVER give personal information over the phone. Of course, he hung up. I can't believe people do this. Get a real job!
I got one too and said my husband won 2.5 million dollars and hasn’t returned the papers we sent through the mail. I told him that PCH doesn’t call and he said that I don’t work for PCH and I said neither do you and I hung up.
Got a call from this number (876-820-0529). The man calling said he was calling from "Publishers Clearing House" and that we had won One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars. I laughed out loud since we had not entered any of their contests. He said that he understood, that he would be skeptical too, but assured me it was true. I replied, "Great, then we'll be expecting a check delivered to our door." He immediately hung up (surprise, surprise). It gave me a good laugh -- but created concern for other more vulnerable folks who could get a call and be asked for personal information where funds could be deposited or some such thing. He didn't go there with me since I wasn't buy his act, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't with someone else. Beware!!
this guy is harassing me, calling 5 times a day, first left 2 messages in a week stating that i won 2 millions dollars, he says to call james Smith
