Be aware a male from Jamaica calls informing me of the PCH checks with my name on them. Wanted a fee in order to get them. I hung up. He calls back three times. Please do not, I repeat, do not fall for this scam.
Fake publishing clearing house call. The caller said that they've sent letters, which I know for a fact that they didn't. When I asked about what particular address that they had. He became silent. But I could hear kids playing in the background, and the caller didn't sound professional. You can tell that it is a scammer soon as you answer the phone. And why would publishing clearing house call from Jamaica?

Wanted me to get a $500 cashier's check to win publishers clearing house $$ and a new car.
Got three calls from this number. Caller with slight accent, saying he was African American with Publisher's Clearing House. Spoke with my wife the first two times, and said we had won something like $930,000, but we would need to send him $700 to start the process of getting the money. I answered the third call, and he wanted to speak to my wife again. I told him that I was going to speak to him, and that she was not going to speak to him further. He told me he was in "Las Vegas, NV". I told him in no uncertain terms that he was trying to run a scam that we were not falling for. There was a child's voice heard in the background, and he actually answered the phone when I called the number back. He gave me the number I was calling from thus indicating he is using caller ID technology, but apparently the call may be coming from his personal home since a child's voice was heard in the background. When I told him to kiss my a**, he told me to "suck my black d**k", and further stated that he would put his "black d**k in my wife's mouth". I advised him to never call my number back again, but a few minutes later he tried calling once more.
Got a call today saying I won the Publishers Clearing House $7000.00 a week for life, as the Guy was talking I could hear Roosters crowing and children playing , when he got to the part that he was in the Greenup Kentucky Holiday inn and would be there with the team, but needed the fee first, I hung up he called back and ask why I hung up and I informed him that there is no Holiday inn in Greenup and PCH does not collect a fee, Suddenly he calls me a F---ing A--hole and hangs up.
Got 2 calls (1st I didn’t answer, 2nd call I answered) from +1 (876) 842-3402 saying they were calling from Oklahoma, the state in which I reside, and that I had won a $391,000 PCH Sweepstakes. I said “I didn’t sign up” and the man got belligerent as to why I didn’t want the prize. I said “okay just mail me the check” and the man became even more upset. He angrily told me to call them back and then hung up on me.
Our doctor's office received a call from 876-842-7979, stating that our office had won Publisher's Clearing House. Our secretary informed him that he had called our after hours emergency line and he just kept on saying that we won a million dollars; hilarious, considering it was a private number and not connected to any individual. Scammers.
