Guy from Jamaica said I won a $900.00 check! Hung up on him and he called me back and wanted to know why I hung up on him and I said I don't know who you are?! Then he proceeded to give me the fake name again and I laughed as I hung up the phone. If I hadn't been at work I would have just lead him on and waste his time like he was wasting mine.
Call came up as from Kingston, Jamaica. The gentleman on the other end rudely asked if he was calling 'a company'. Obvious scam. And obvious dick.
Could hardly understand the guy, sounded drunk and slurring words. Said he was from the Winners International Bank. I asked where that was and he said Chicago Ill. Then why are you calling from Jamaica? After a pause , the dumb-ass hung up.
Called and said I had won 1.5 million from Publishers Clearing House and the money would be delivered by UPS. Call was from Kingston, Surrey County, Jamaica. I let the guy go through his spiel until he asked for $200 to ensure I filled out some acceptance form for the money. I hung up and he called right back, so I blocked the number. So stupid and such an obvious scam.
The calerl Mr John is stating that he is with American Cash Reward and is wanting us to send him money. He is rude and pushy and calls 10 or more times a day.
called me in Mass from that number and mumbled something about why and left call back - I see Jamaica exchange and I ignore the call.
