Got unwanted call from 876-886-6157?
I pity anyone who is foolish enough to fall for these scams. Publisher Clearing House scams are so old by this point how can anyone fall for this! Especially once you see the call is from Jamaica c'monnn
Also claimed to be Publisher's Clearing House, said I won $18.5 mil but the IRS requires me to pay $13K prior to PCH sending my winnings. They explained this was to prove that it wasn't illegal money or "blood money". WTH is that suppose to mean? I knew from my caller ID saying the call was from Jamaica that this was fraud from the onset but tried really hard to keep him on the line, you know waste his time. He did express concern that other winners had gotten upset with the fee and had called him bad names and, as I kept the call going with lots of questions, he accused me of getting upset. I was able to assure him that I was not and continued asking him questions about how to get him the money for the fee and asked if they could just keep the fee from my 18.5 mil winnings. He started raising his voice at which I asked why he was getting upset and yelling at me. He stated he wasn't and then tried telling me to either pay the fee or they'd give the money to someone else. Then, as I persisted with my line of questioning, he hung up! :( I was having so much fun!!
Claimed to be Gen Mgr of PCH. It was the same person, using a different name, that had called 2 days prior. Same message, I had won $18,0000, a 2019 Mercedes Benz and $2,000 per week for life. He was very persisent and I told him he had picked the wrong old lady to scam.
