I also received a call that claimed to be from Publishers Clearing House on January 26, 2022.
Got a call from 877-3482110. Robocall from fake Publishers Clearinghouse.
So this number does leave a robocall voicemail from Ascension Medical WI. When I called back, they said that I had a bill that is overdue and may go to collections. This bill aligned with a bill I had overdue on my ascensionwinorth account. I payed it on the phone. Realized that may have been a mistake. A week later, I then called the number listed on my bill (877-348-9718) that I received in the mail. I asked if a payment was posted of the exact amount I payed over the phone. It was a yes, and they said that number is likely from another department in their building.
I have never been to an Ascension Hospital or Surgery Center; yet, I have received two generic messages from them from two different phone numbers on my brand new number. One message was to call them back IMMEDIATELY about an emergency matter; the other, about a personal business matter. Again, I have NEVER utilized their services and they do not even seem to know whom they are calling, which is a huge red flag! I used to work extensively in the medical field so I am well aware of what a legitimate medical call sounds like or should sound like, and these messages left on my voicemail do not remotely qualify.
Called saying they were alaska usa credit union and to verify 3 purcheses in AZ. We havent been to AZ...
Robo message claims to be ascension medical with a time sensitive message. Confirmed to be a fraudulent call.
