Re 877-366-1642. They've called my home phone in SC two nights in a row from two different phone numbers and left a message, but did not ask for any person in particular. A lady with a pleasant-sounding voice claims this is an attempt to collect a debt, but we have no debt and have very good credit. Both nights she left the same exact message. Says she works for Midland Credit Management. I think it is a scam. Another website posts reports of people returning their calls who say there is no way to get to the extension number left and the person that answers starts demanding your social security number before they can transfer you to the person that called you originally! I'm not returning any calls from them. If they believe they have a legitimate issue, let them send me a letter and validate the debt. No one in my family has any outstanding debt.
"Collection agency" regarding a defaulted City bank credit card. Thing is, I've never had a Citi Bank account or Credit card. Period.
Collection agency (all foreigners with which barely speak english, yet use real common everyday english names) that repeatedly calls my house looking for someone that does not live at my house or has use of this phone. They have repeatedly called and harass me. I have asked repeatedly to be taken off the list and they continue to call. I have asked for contact people to have my lawyer send a legal letter stating they have the wrong number and they have given me fake names and addresses, just this number to call. If the federal government wants to do something useful they should shut these companies down and put these companys out of bussiness
There calling my work and they never call me and I almost got fired because of it
Called us in AZ, called our personal number, it was a live person, and it was about debt management and we have no debt
I have never heard of this debt collector an I have no outstanding debts. They call 7 days a week. I have the number blocked so they can't even leave a message.
