I keep getting a call from this same number. The price was $299 to renew my subscription. I called the number = told them I have no subscription. They knew my email address and said I had received an e-mail on 3-16-2018. I did not receive any email and I would not let them have access to my computer to delete anything- more like they would have added a trojan or some other illegal program. They said this was from Microsoft. I imagine there are a lot of people who get ripped off by these people! I am not that stupid!
Received automated call from 877-409-0981 about payment renewal for security on my computer stating my credit card was being billed for $200 plus and I needed to contact them to cancel renewal. I called the number back and this guy said I would be refunded after he had access to my computer. I told him he was not getting access. He said this was the only way to credit my account for a refund. He stated he had to remove the security program. I asked for his company name and my account number. He said he would transfer me to his billing department after he removed the security from my PC. I told him "expletive deleted" that I better not get a billing on any of my credit cards, that I was contacting my credit card companies, Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Communications Commission. He hung up.

I too keep getting calls from this number, supposedly Microsoft, saying I owed $300 and if I didn't pay up fleas would infest my hair, nose and mouth.......no, I'm making up that last part. Thing is, I keep blocking the number but it keeps calling. I don't answer, just delete it.
