Rec'd call indicating AT&T Directv, asking about the quality of my service and offering a promotion. Brian Cooper was reportedly the manager but was unavailable to take calls; this was the name given by the floor supervisor that quickly became a manager when asked to speak to his superior. I have not have DirecTV for at least 18 months. They had my name, address and phone number, all are easily obtained. Hung up and called DirecTV and the nice young man said they knew of scams similar. He was glad that I did not provide any additional information. Suggested to report to DirecTV fraud department, which I plan to do.
offered Direct tv at discounted rate but had to pay 4 months with Ebay giftcard by calling another number 855-383-4801
I don’t answer anything that comes up spam risk and by the looks of searching the number I was right not to.
