They called me about student loan forgiveness and know a lot of my personal information which is alarming. I called dept of education and they don't know anything about them and they had me change my password and security questions. Sounds like a scam and they are convincing. They won't complete paperwork unless I provide a debit card for first 3 payments.
This number has called every day for last several weeks. They said that they were going to shut down my computer because of illegal/suspicious activity due to hacking. I was well aware that this was a scam and told her to go ahead and shut it down... i hope nobody falls for this.
These persons keep calling me in regards student loan forgiveness but they want to charge me in advance for payments towards my loans. They also call me with a private number and I ask them to stop calling me but they still harassed me with phone calls.
Called 11/27/17, 6:05pm and 7:26pm. I’m on a no call list. Fortunately I have an app on my phone so it says suspected spam.
Just called at 6:30 AM California time. Have NoMoRobo so one ring only.
