I picked up the phone and said what do you want. Caller started growling like a bear. I hung up. True story.
Pose as att rep checking service in your area, then they use the minimal info you give them to gain access to your account and purchase phones on it...
Called at 2:00 A.M. No message left. Call came up at 011-888-370-9232 Isn't 011 an overseas number
received a call from this number at 12:54 AM. Answering machine picked up and they hung up. But it was 12:54 AM!
At 6:02 pm today--April 15,2019--a message was left on my answering machine saying my Microsoft Tech Support had expired and in two days my account will be billed $800 for lifetime tech support. This is a scam; I already have lifetime support and confirmed with that support that I should not respond to this threat.
They called and my answering machine picked up. Who do they think they are dealing with. I refuse to be bullied. They are claiming I signed a contract. Baloney. They claim they will bill be $800 / month.
