Called me twice about an hour apart. Claimed it was regarding my inquiry into refinance information. I have been dealing with Quicken/Rocket for over 10 years, the call just did not have the right tone to it. They knew my name and the address but little else. I told them "Don't call me, I'll call you.
URGENT: Scammer!! Quicken Mortgage - left a voicemail but this is the same # that showed up during other calls and some weird recorded religious message. When I look up something on my phone such as I looked up about refinancing but I did not fill out any contact form with my info on it. The very next day I get a voicemail from this very same # stating he is calling from Quicken Loans regarding my refinancing. 1. I never left my phone number 2. I never filled out any information 3. This same # I have blocked but it still goes to my voicemail box and from that same # those voicemails would be regarding several unrelated topics. I feel this is a scammer and in some way they are able to follow my browsing history from my phone which is scary. Please help. I have reported this phone number through the My Verizon Call Center App 3 times already but nothing gets done. The number is 888-382-7472. It shows up as “unknown.” When I share that contact with my Verizon Call-Filter it shows up as “Antigua & Barbuda.” Shows that I already have it blocked and shows up as a ‘red’ alert for scammer. But I still get these calls and they pretend to be associated with something I may have browsed on my phone the day before. Really scary.
