Got unwanted call from 888-398-7257?
Also been getting calls from this number and another number claiming to be Eversource and service was to be shut off.
This is a scam. As soon as I mentioned scam they hung up on me. They refused to send an invoice for their claim. Eversource needs to do something about this because their name is on the line.
Got the same Eversource scam call from this # (claiming they will disconnect). Called Eversource directly via the phone # listed on their website - they've been getting lots of calls today from customers getting same scam call.
Robocall claiming to be Eversource with disconnect today.
Call from eversource saying they are shutting off our power- I haven’t had eversource in years. Fake.
888-398-7257 calling & saying that Eversource is shutting off our gas & electric unless we pay $$$$$$$$$$$$ - LIES!!!
Agreeing with the other comment. Claimed to be Eversource with the disconnect- my bill is up to date. Do not call them at the number listed in the robocall. They will likely ask for payment info and run up fraudulent charges.
Call is a robo call with voicemail left on my iPhone. Call alleges it is from my electric utility (Eversource), and that there is a disconnect order for nonpayment. It tells me to contact them. It is a scam. My account happens to have a credit. In addition, the call was placed on my mobile phone that has a number that I do not give out, and which is not listed on my Eversource account.
