I received a call from 888-406-1222, but didn't answer the phone. Nitwitts ought to be shut down. January 2018

I got a call on my cell from this lady that could hardly speak English she proceeded to tell me she was from Microsoft and, my computer has issues but, I am smarter than the average bear & fix my own computer when it has issues. I knew better because, I also have worked for Computer Software companies before and, if you are in Tech support taking or making phone calls you have to be able to speak proper English and, the proper way of saying Microsoft is Microsoft not Mercrosoft. Once this lady started talking I just said "Uh no" then hung up.  Please spam bots stop calling me I'm not interested in your false ways to get information. Do the adult thing and, get a job a real job & stop trying to scam people in the stupidest way to get information.

Hindu scam. They pretend to be from Microsoft & tell you that they’ve somehow detected that your Windows computer is infected. I told her I didn’t use Windows, she said,”Oh, you have a Mac?” I said,”No, I use BSD.” She promptly hung up. :-D

Trying to likely fish information or get you pay for a pretended corruption of your Microsoft Windows system. Asking you to run the "assoc" program under your cmd prompt. Pretending your CLSID is affected. Bullshit ! Stay away for this number and do not trust anything they will tell you on the phone.
