I received this call asking for my husband that just passed away 8 months ago. Boy did she get an earful from me and then I told her not to ever call again,
Call is from Quest Health Connects regarding benifits that United Healthcare provides. Just one of numerous numbers quest uses
Got 4 calls back to back from 888-486-4838. Did not answer the first call as it was an unknown number and certainly did not answer the following calls that seemed like I was being harassed because I didn't answer the first call.
My husband got 2 calls back to back from this # 888-486-4838 thank goodness I checked info on this number . We never answer calls from phone #s we don't recognize
yes woman said she was from United Healthcare and wanted to do a retina check in my home the very next day. I said no. Who does that?
My father received a call from these people, who told him there was an issue with his email and then gained access to his computer via logmein. I don't know if they were in long enough to gain his info, and have him removing anything that was installed today, but I can only assume it was an attempt to steal any data of value.
Calls up to 4 to 5 times daily, never leaves message. Always rings twice then hangs up. I call this harassment!
We were scammed out of 500.00 by caller from this number 8884862849. We thought we were getting help from Microsoft to fix a problem on our computer. They accessed our computer got bank info and other info. They were suppose to refund 200.00 but the deposited 9,000.00 in our account. They called and said they made a terrible mistake in the deposit and wanted my husband to send them 8,000 back. We did not. We went to the bank and they traced the deposit. This person, named Danny, who keep calling us to transfer the money back. We did not answer his calls he left messages saying he was going to take legal action if we didn't transfer the money. In the meantime, the bank found out they had taken the money from a women's account. The bank transferred the money back to the lady they had stolen the money from her account. Apparently this company is located in NJ. What a scam.
