first of all all amazon users please be aware that when you google the word amazon.com you get a pd ad as the first box above the real amazon.com site and the ad box says amazon.com. So i was busy wanted to view my history and accidentally clicked on the paid ad site, it looked legit and then all of a sudden I get a pop up on my screen that says my account has been block because 17 people were trying to access my account and to call this 888-606-3270 so I did and got a guy called himself john miller. first the call was really a bad connection (that should have been my first red flag) so he asked to call me back which stupidly I give him my work number. He calls and then he starts telling me that amazon wants to make sure that these other 17 people who are trying to hack into my acct can't do so and I must assist him in allowing him access to my computer. He was good, I mean really good, he had me going. So he tells me to hit the four squares on my keypad that are a microsoft logo and then he tells me to type in an access code so he can get on my computer and block these other hackers. Well then the red flag when super ding dong and it hit me this is fake. So I said, sorry I would have to get permission from my boss to give him access, and he told me to call him back at the same number and ask for him. JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE WHEREVER YOU SHOP.
David parker was one of the names he used on me. Told me that they would help recover money previously lost to other tech scammers. He was just another scammer.
received email from Paypal stating account allert payment to a vendor i did not recognize? i spoke to Sean Davis as well thinking i was talking to Paypal Fraud department because the number was on the email. total scam!! she got in my computer i fell for it! she wanted me to purchase a gift card to block scammers from accessing my Paypayl or Amazon acct . I let her know i needed to call police to report my accounts possible hacked! she said they wont be able to help i freeked out and told her i was done & called all my accounts possible hackers - called paypal directly they said they do not send emails unless personalized to my name completely upset this happened!!!
“Sean Davis” claimed to be from Amazon. Reporting purchases in my name of over $7,000.00. Sent to Wisconsin and Florida. Supposedly paid thru Pay Pal. Wanted me to go buy a “card” that blocks any users but me. Give him the ID # on it & he would refund all purchases. I called Pay Pal and Visa. No such charges exist.
We keep telling them NOT to call. We are on the Do NOT call list. LOOK up the name of the owner & reviews. Repair your credit.
Called to say the company I had hired to fix my computer was a fraud; therefore, I was eligible to receive $400 that I paid. "Just call this number." I did not call.
It seems to be a credit repair company that I asked them to remove my number from their calling system and stop calling my phone number.
Just called. Had my email as well. Referred to Norton. I was curious what BSA they would say. Did not make sense. Told the man with a thick Nigerian accent to not call. Caller I'd was Quibicals. 1886063270
