Called from a private number. Left a message to call another number and give an ID reference number to whoever picks up the phone. States that there is a pending legal matter against me and to find out more information I need to call the firm. They then called my father who I have not lived with for the last 15 years. They told him it was urgent to get ahold of me and I have me call a number and reference number. This same setup happened four months ago turned out there looking for somebody with a similar name as me yet wanted me to verify my social with them as in give them the last four of my social. Wasn't happening. Same scam fraud mo.
Said my account was flagged and wanted to enroll me in a Student Loan Forgiveness program. My student loans were paid off 3 years ago. Nice try....
Called about loan forgiveness and sounded like a real person when they left a voicemail.
