Complaints about Phone Numbers888-778-####

I am so glad I found this page, I had the same experience I got a VM from an unknown number saying they would be at my house in an hour and there were 2 charges against me. I was so scared because they knew the last 4 digits of my social, I called back and it's totally bogus the lady just hung up on me...this needs to be shut down, I am at work stressing out over nothing

Did anything actually happen? Were papers sent etc?

I received a call from (888) 778-5317 stating her name is Lori and she is a private investigator and that I had to cases pending against me from the state of Utah and they knew my last 4 digits of my social when I called the back I was not able to speak with anybody. The scary thing about this is that they knew the last 4 of my social.

Call came from a Melody Short to both myself and my boyfriends cellphones regarding my boyfriend stating they're with DLS and there is a complaint against him. They knew the last 4 of his social!!! Also stated papers would be at our home in 24 hours and needed ID along with signature. I work for a lawyer. I called back and stated so and asked for their information which at this time the woman started fumbling her words and refused to answer any of my questions.

A message was left on my phone from an "unavailable number". A message was left ... "This message is solely intended to (my name), last name (stated), last for of social security number that's ending in xxxx, my name is Susan Lowery contact you on behalf of the state and i am contacting you in regards to two possible charges being filed against you. I am scheduled to come out and issue a court summons within 24 hours, to your address (stated) or your possible place of employment. It is required that you are available with valid photo identification and a required signature. if you have any questions or concerns prior to my arrival to the address I have referenced to the complaining party DLS Servicing their number listed here 888-778-5317, refer to case number T as in Tango - M as in Mary 598- xx. This was a courtesy call and you have officially been notified. Failure to comply will result in further action be taken, thank you and good luck." The number was called and there was no such person of the name left on the message. They ask who I was, that information was not disclosed to him, I was put on hold and no one returned to the phone after five minutes.

Hi. I received a call from an unknown number and was told it was from a private investigator who's name is Susan Laurie. She said she is calling on behalf of the State of Texas and regards to two possible charges being filed against me. She stated she is to scheduled to come out and issue a court summit within 24 hours. My address and last 4 digits of my social security number were read to me. I was told it requires that I am available and she can issue the summit at a possible place of employment. She suggested I contact DLS Servicing at 888-778-5317 if I have questions I want to ask before the summit is issued. Without verification I want whoever reading this that this phone number is toll free, customer service has an extension, and a potentially fraudulent investigator is promoting this phone number for DSL Servicing.

received call from this number on August 8, 2019. They knew the last 4 numbers of my Social and said that it was a civil matter. They knew my address and stated I need to be at the residence sign papers.

Had two calls from this number on August 6, 2019. They new the last 4 numbers of my Social and said in the voicemail that it was a civil matter. They new my address and that someone would be at my residence within 24 hours to have me sign papers. No one has showed up at my home yet and it has been 24 hours.
