Threat of prosecution related to service of a document. Process servers do not have those rights and can not threaten prosecution, they also do not call in advance.
Received same threatening call as described above but from a local #. but caller left the 888#. Message said process servers was coming to my home or office in 72 hours. Process servers DO NOT call you ahead of time! I called back and there was a message that told me to leave a detailed message. I hung up.
Caller called my phone leaving threatening voicemail stating they would deliver a legal document within 72 hours. If I was not home, they threatened to serve the paper to my job. Also stated I must show a valid photo ID when being served the document.
Caller called my phone leaving threatening voicemail stating they would deliver a legal document within 72 hours. If I was not home, they threatened to serve the paper to my job. Also stated I must show a valid photo ID when being served the document. I called the number back and a female answered and did not identify herself. She said they were trying to reach someone and gave my mothers name. I advised they have the wrong number. The caller asked for her number and I refused it. Definitely a scam. They refused to identify themselves. Number cannot be found. ?(888) 782-8807?
bogus phishing robocall. thieves, no doubt! I've blocked the number.
I received this same call as described above. I did not answer the call but they left a message and I listened to that. I called back the 888-782-8807 and there was a message and told me to leave a detailed message, nope. I hung up. I am pretty sure this is a scam/fraudulent call. They have called me twice now in the last three days. The call comes from a local number but tells you to call back the 888-782-8807 number.
Caller claimed legal papers being served and I would need photo ID and would need to sign having been served the papers. If I did not they would serve the papers at my work. Caller did not identify the legal papers, the serving firm, the case, or any other specific information. I did not call back. This is a scam.

Received a call from a 4244 area code, did not pick up. They left a voicemail stating that they were going to serve me papers at my job. I called back and the female answered the phone, she could not tell me any details but wanted me to disclose several details of my personal information. Definitely seems like a scam.
