Today I received a cold call (utilizing a spoofed local phone number) from an individual claiming to be from AT&T DirectTV. They tried to get me to pay for a Satellite software upgrade to my DirecTV receivers. They kept pushing me for my account information. However, I asked them to tell me what was my info. They could not. They gave me the following phone number to call for verification Call Us (888)850-9973.
They are calling us at 2.30pm and told us tht they are from booking.com We called booking.com and report the number, they said to us that they don’t have the number in their base and the number is without ID.
AAA renewal time, usually automatic but my cc needed updating. Glad for the email and phone call both from AAA Notheast, North Andover, MA office.

Got a text message asking “Is this Wright Avenue Brookhaven LLC”. This is the company that built the subdivision. I blocked the number.
