Complaints about Phone Numbers888-889-####

I got a call from this number claiming to be a litigator for a claimant against my daughter. Had her information,, but I didn't bite. Scammers.

Got a call 1-888-889-6650 asked whom they were said it was a personal call so I hanged up they were asking for another family member

Called me twice now I’m a New Yorker and these phone calls are getting annoying

630-306-7605 left a voicemail below on 11/06/20: “Hey it's Melissa Davis _?_?_?_ _?_?_?_ enrollment Center my phone number is 888-889-2826 and I was actually just giving you a call to let you know that we do have your preapproved amount back for the advantage program um we were able to actually get you up to $53,000 so if you could just give me a call back and I can start to go over details with you and we can start to move forward um just in case again my phone number is 888-889-2826 and you can go ahead

Got a text from this number claiming students loan money refund

Got this phone call today: “Hey it's Melissa Davis calling from the loan enrollment Center my phone number is 888-889-2826 and I was actually just giving you a call to let you know that we do have your preapproved amount back for the advantage program and we were able to actually get you up to $53,000. So if you could just give me a call back and then I can start to go over details with you and we can start to move forward. A young-sounding woman left a message telling me that she was calling from the "Loan Enrollment Center," and that my loan had been approved, and to call back to "go over details." Of course, I had not applied for a loan, and have never heard of the center to which she referred. Either an error in calling me, or -- most likely -- a scam. I called the number to determine which it was, but nobody answered.

I've also received a call from a lady saying my $50,000 loan i requested had been approved and that needed my personal information to complete the loan.. ive never applied for any type of loan and would never give out any personal information.. not sure if this is a SCAM or a Telemarketer trying to get me to apply for a loan
