Telemarketer with Voice Directories
Received a robocall stating that my business was not "voice search ready" which is fraud / false inducement. I spoke with a man who identified himself as "Ronnie" and asked basic information identifying information about his company such as: Company Name, State in which the business is registered to do business, owner name, etc. which he refused to provide. I advised that their current sales script violated FTC rules and needed to be changed. The number shown on my Caller ID was 931-572-5384. The company identified themselves as "Voice Directories" but would not disclose which state they were operating out of. Please open a formal investigation into the trade practices of this company with regard to their telephone solicitations and the false statements propagated to unwary consumers as factual assertions.
