I recieved a call from 888-934-6489...this was after i was on hold with Xfinty at 800-266-2278 and finally got a representative. Once the rep answered the phone the call went silent while i repeatedly asked if they were still there...then the call dropped. I then received a call from 888-934-6489 i would not speak to them. I believe Xfinity has workers spoofing calls to a scam xfinity number.

I did respond to a survey after a recent call to customer service, so I suspect this call is legitimate.
I have gotten 5-10 calls a day from this number. 7:30am all the way until 9:30pm. They never leave a message, and I've never answered. When the internet told me it was Xfinity, I checked my account. Everything was fine. I blocked them, but this is the most calls I've ever gotten from a scammer!!!!!
I indicate spam but most likely fraud. I answered and a recording started about an appointment time for service. We do not have any connection with Xfinity or comcast, Just hung up and blocked number. We are in Louisiana
Keep getting calls from 888-934-6489. My unknown number app is blocking it, but they won’t stop calling!

They wanted a payment of $175 because I was two months delinquent on my account. Problem is that I don't have an account with them. Caller had a heavy accent, sounded Indian possibly.
