Same here, same number, apparently a Jenny from Pennymac, under 8889783067 ext 6438. Called the real Pennymac and they said nobody tried to reach out. So definitely a SCAM! Wonder if PennyMac can do something about this and shut those numbers down ...
Received a voicemail on Sunday regarding my mortgage from 805-517-4207, said they were PennyMac... left a return number of 888-978-3067 they addressed me by the wrong name!!! Name was nat even close!! Not calling back!
I got the same call today. It is a scam.
Called me three times in one day saying they were from penny Mac and wanted to speak to me about my mortgage. Three times in one day! This happed a few months ago and I blocked the number, now they are calling from a different number. Ridiculous. The number they call from is NOT the callback number they provide.
