Got unwanted call from 903-771-4867?
persistant caller..when answered ask for my husband and I said he was busy so they called me by name and said we helped you with your computer a year ago and wanted to follow up. He said we charged you 200.00 and want to know how the service was....I replied not worth a ****. My computer crashed for sure after you fixed it (Microsoft Tech) I stated that the computer was hacked and ruined. He stated, I will call you tomorrow to give you a refund. My Windows 7 was totally nursed off my computer. It all started with a phone call from what is believed to be the hacker who said my computer had been hacked. It was! This call was from CA. I called Microsoft and got a technician who did fix it temporarily but it was too late. I am not sure but my husband and I both believed this was hacking that came in on political issues. However we had not been answering this number until later last night 9-10-18. He knew the amount we were charged to fix the mess. We ended up taking the computer to Staples and it was totally destroyed. This guy is supposed to call back with a refund today. There will be no exchange of banking information. A check only or credit card refund with me on the line to the credit card company at the same time. I reported the hacker number at the time but one never hears. I suppose 200.00 is a lesson learned. This amount was because we are seniors. When the hackers called back we were on the line with Microsoft or who we thought was Microsoft. We shall see.
