It seems like everytme they call, its from a different organization. This time they said they are from the Fraternal Order of Police. I tld him he called at a bad time to which he replied when will you have time to help out your local police? When I said I am familiar with the organization and will just get in touch with them, the guy on the other end hang up.
Well, I just got a call...the ID says available and they played me soft music and then hung up. i guess they were fishing to see if I would answer, so now I'm probably going to be subjected to several calls today.
These guys are trying to tell me that they are from the Jacksonville Association of Firefighters and they are wanting a donation for Camp Amigo and when I tried to tell them that I was a firefighter and we don't have an office in San Marco he, John Mayer (?), said I was lying about being a firefighter and hung up on me!! I called back and the guy, Mark something, who answered hung up on me after I challenged him and asked him to please take my number off his list.
phone tagged as "SCAM LIKELY". Multiple call attempts to my cell.
This is one of many calls from a company named Balance. I have logged at least 11 numbers from this company. I called back one of the numbers to ask to have my number removed from their list. The man said I had an attitude. Well, I replied if you stop calling you won't be subjected to it. Still they call with other numbers.
