Got unwanted call from 908-558-2600?
Rec'd call...young male said "Grandma---this is Chris"........I told him I don't have any grandchildren....he hung up.
Was not in when this call came. They simply hung up and did not leave message.
No message left -- apparently the caller hung up when the answering machine kicked in. Which is good.... FOR THE CALLER, because I take a dim view of scammers. Caller said "UNION COUNTY" and I didn't even know where it was coming from. Bet if it was a woman's voice it would have been my useless money grubbing niece, whose felon ex-husband is probably back IN jail, and I'd lay money on it being the one in Union County.... This is the second website with reports of it being this type of scam that I've found so far!
Called in pretending to be my grandpa's grandson, 2nd time this have occurred with this phone number and same guys voice on other end
Woman with African accent named “AMY” “In an accident, arrested, dui, in jail, suicidal”. My 90 year old father was in such a state thinking it was his granddaughter he was almost in tears.
Pretended to be my grandson who was in jail and needed money.
Kid called me grandma and said he was my grandson whose name he knew. When I said he didn’t sound like him he said he had broken his nose. I hung up and later blocked call.
