I got a call from this phone number from a woman named Charlotte with the Student Services Department saying that they needed to speak with me about my outstanding federal student loan debt and the Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Program. I finished paying off my student loans almost a year ago. I don't know if this is a scam or a mistake.
I received a call from this phone number. It was a real person who called himself David Reynolds from the Student Loan Center. He said that my student loan forgiveness application was in pending status and I would need to call back today to enroll or call that number back and press 2 to opt out of future calls and they'd cancel the application. I did not initiate this application, nor do I have student loans.
Called my cell phone. I have the business phone transferred to it So when I answered with our business name the caller said oh I called the wrong number.
Said they were from the IRS and a court action had been filed against my SSN wanted me to call them back and verify my info. Scam
First: I don't agree to any terms and conditions of service!!!!! Said he was from Peace Officers Ass'n..... Looks like Teleport Communications America could stop this.!!! Does the FTC know about this company????? Are they registered in GA? Do they pay taxes in GA???? And i don't agree to any terms and conditions!!!!!!!!
