Got unwanted call from 916-409-7814?
I received a call from this number with a photo of a man with his head blown apart and a threat on my life and the members of my family if I did not pay him/her $3000. Not sure what to do as I live in the Santa Clara County and this number apparently is located in Yolo county. Any suggestions would be happily received.
Message left saying there was fraudulent activity on my Social Security account. Asked me to return call to verify information. This call from 916 409 7814. This is the second call like this that I have received.
Said he was Officer Lou Garrison, Badge #66532 and was most concerned that the local police had not contacted me about the fraud activity on my social security number. He wanted to verify some information and asked if that was okay. I told him it depended what he wanted to know. He wanted to verify my birthdate so I asked him what he had as my birthdate and he said he was not legally able to provide information. I told him I was not either. So he told me he was going to end the call and I should be prepared to suffer the consequences. Just for kicks, I called back and got a different "Officer" that wanted me to verify my social security number. Something needs to be done about this. There are elderly people that give out this information.
