The Texas Senior Medicare Patrol has received several complaints about Medicare scam calls from 917-755-7140. The male caller says that he is calling from Medicare to tell the Medicare recipient that s/he is about to receive a “doctor-ordered brace”. THIS IS A SCAM. MEDICARE WILL NEVER CALL YOU. Report these scams to the Federal Trade Commission (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov) , Medicare Office of the Inspector General (https://oig.hhs.gov/fraud/report-fraud/index.asp) and your state's Senior Medicare Patrol (1-877-808-2468, or https://www.smpresource.org).
