Received a text claiming I was an owner of a business that lost a copyright infringement case and owed $242821.40. The text listed both company names and even a debtor id. The name of the company owner who owed money was similar to mine so I am guessing this person is looking up names and contacting them randomly. I do not even have a business. This person then called me after the text looking for the owner. Told him there was no one by that name and that he had the wrong number, he was very quick to hang up. SCAMMER

This number came up on my phone but message was to return call to a different number 631-627-6000 which is listed as credible # for National Credit Investigators in NY. I was told I owed $1105 for the business I owned. I answered that I didn't have a business therefore couldn't have a debt. The caller - a very fast talking man - immediately said "Oh my computer is locked up and I can't access that, I will call you back in 5 minutes." He quickly hung up and never called back.
